MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government on Thursday extended the coronavirus induced lockdown till February 28.
However all the activities permitted under the ‘Begin Again’ mission will be continued. Under ‘Begin Again’, the state government will reopen activities in a phased manner.
The lockdown in the state has completed over nine months.
According to the notification issued chief secretary Sanjay Kumar said that since the state of Maharashtra is threatened with the spread of Covid-19 virus it is expedient to extend the lockdown in the entire state till midnight of February 28.
