MUMBAI: Ola and Uber driver partners have threatened to protest and the possibility of strike cannot be ruled out as they demand a fare revision – with base fare of Rs 100 and higher fares for all categories of vehicles.
Raju Patil of Sangharsh Tourist Chalak Malak Sangh said, “We want base fare up from Rs 25 to minimum Rs 100 and the fare for a hatchback to be around Rs 16 per km. And, fare of sedans be around Rs 18 and for SUV Rs 22 per km. We have given an ultimatum of March 29.”
